Oscar Rios

I have been raised with horses and livestock my whole life. My family was introduced to horses and livestock by my father.  I train horses from starting colts, to finished rope horses. I have been hauling livestock for Rio Grand Classic Horse Sale in El Paso Texas for the past ten years.  I have a total of 15 years experience hauling horses to horse shows, sales, rodeos, and to farms across the United States.

I have roped in most all of the Western States and as far East as Minnesota, Oklahoma and East Texas. I won Rookie of the Year in Montana, in the Northwest Rodeo Association (1994). My wife and I have trained hundreds of roping horses during our 24 years of marriage.

My wife and I ran our own boarding stables. We gave riding classes to 4-H students and gave private lessons, teaching students to rope, ride; and care for their horses and livestock. I also am an accomplished welder and farrier.

I own a 2007 Dodge Super Duty one ton truck.

Hello Marshall,

A HUGE "thank you" to both you and Oscar! Your transport really bailed us out when the "other" people we booked with took our deposit and left us stranded. Oscar called every day to let us know how the horses were doing and where he was on the long cross country trip. All three horses were just fine. Oscar is one good horse person I would highly recommend! Our thanks again.......it is good to know there are still honest people out there!

Oscar was wonderful with my horses. I felt totally confident that my horses would be well cared for and settled during the long trip, which was a new feeling for me in having my horses transported. I actually did not worry at all! Please relay my thanks to Oscar.

Dear Scott,
