Professional Horse Handler/Driver
Earlene Cole

Earlene has had a love for and worked with
horses all her life. She has transported all types of animals on
short trips and cross country. She especially likes working with
mares with foals & stallions.
Earlene grew up in New Mexico and Arizona
around horses and cattle. After attending Colorado State University
she went into the horse business breeding, training and showing
Quarter Horses. She has shown horses in halter, showmanship, western
and english classes in the American Quarter Horse Association,
Palomino Horse Breeders Association and is now actively involved in
the American Ranch Horse Association. She has been a show mom and a
4 H leader for her daughter, Quintana. Quintana and Earlene are now
developing their skills in reining and team sorting. They own 5
Quarter Horses (3 are retired), a mustang, a grade horse and a
burro.
Earlene retired (after 20 years) from
Longmeadow Rescue Ranch, a rescue and rehabilitation center for
abused horses and farm animals located in Missouri. "At Longmeadow I
learned so much about caring for and handling horses. We had all
types of horses come in with a variety of issues, many I had only
read about. I am experienced in loading and transporting horses so
that it is a positive experience for them."
She has worked closely with a number of
veterinarians and works part time at two veterinary practices
between trips.
She is a member of the Missouri Rescue
Response Team, which rescues animals from various situations
(animals that are down, animals stuck in mud or flood waters, etc.)
She has been incident commander at several semi-truck wrecks
involving cattle and horses with successful outcomes for most of the
animals.
"I am looking forward to working with the
clients of Pure Pleasure Horse Transport. I will give their horses
the best care during the trip so that the arrive healthy and happy
at their destination."

Subject: Thank you!
Hi,
I told Earlene I would send her a picture from Corning, NY.
Please thank her for bringing my new cool mule to me with her TLC.
I am still trying out names on him. Tonight we are trying the name
"Zeke" and it seems to fit.
Thank you again,
Celeste

Earlene
I want to thank you for bringing my Fjord Lucas
from Wisconsin to NY. He arrived safe and calm. Was not stressed
at all. You took wonderful care of him. I also appreciated all the
updates. Pick up and delivery were on the dates specified with no
complications. Trailer is very nice and safe. Most of all it is
obvious that you are a real horse and animal lover. She even does
a follow up call.
I would recommend this company any time, but
Earlene was the best. I hope you show off his picture. He is happy
and doing well.
Thank you
Jerri and
Lucus

Subject: Earlene was wonderful !!
Hi Marshall !!
I just had to tell you how wonderful Earlene was
taking care of my Shire mare that she picked up in TN, and brought
to me in MO. She called me and the seller two days before to set
up a pick up time, then called me to let me know she was on the
road with her and was doing fine. Earlene is an experienced horse
person, and I had no doubts with having her in charge of my "baby
girl", but having her call periodically was nice. She let me know
where she was and how Mae was doing.
She called me several times during the trip and
also when she got close to town. When she got here it was late so
she boarded her overnight for me at a local barn--I don't have
stalls and didn't want a new horse put in a paddock she's never
seen at all, much less in the dark. She put her in the stall, Mae
took too much hay, didn't chew and swallowed, the hay got stuck.
Earlene saw this and acted immediately. She knew exactly what to
do and what to look for if a horse was choking. She called me and
then talked to my vet. The whole time I did not worry because I
knew Earlene was VERY knowledgeable in emergency horse care.
The next morning she showed up at my farm promptly
at 8 am with my new baby. I just wanted to let you know what an
asset Earlene is, and how lucky I was to have her drive my girl
home. It was just by chance that I chose your company, but I have
already referred you and Earlene to all of my "horsey" friends,
Shire breeders, and rescue organization owners.
You could not have a more knowledgeable,
professional, and compassionate person taking care of your horse.
Just wanted to let you know !!

Hi Marshall, just wanted to drop you a quick email to let
you know that I think you guys are the absolute BEST!!! Earlene
did a splendid job with Galahad yesterday for me, and she was ever
so kind to hold my very spoilt two year old while I showed Galahad
the hazard in the field.
I cannot thank you guys enough for the kind treatment you've
given Galahad. He arrived in fantastic condition, and Earlene was
fabulous, not hurrying him at all for the unloading. I keep
recommending you to everyone I know that needs horse transport,
and you can bet if I need to move any horses or ponies in the
future, you'll be the ones I call!
Big hugs and best regards, Debbie in Missouri
