Dear Marshall,

Just a short note to let you know that my two geldings arrived safely in Sheridan, Montana this morning.

I was really impressed with your driver from start to finish. He arrived on schedule in Tucson, Arizona to pick up the horses. His trailer was clean and well prepared with ample water buckets and feed bags. The box stalls provided each horse with ample room during the long haul. At the end of each day, the driver would call me with an update as to his location and the
condition of the horses. This morning, when he arrived at his destination, he called to advise that he had dropped off the horses on schedule. My friends at the ranch, called me shortly afterwards to say that the horses had arrived and looked good after a long trip.

Thank you to the driver and Pure Pleasure Horse Transport for hauling my horses safely and efficiently from Tucson, Arizona to Sheridan, Montana.

I now know who to call for all of my future horse transportation needs.

In 2004, my husband and I picked out a 6 month old gelding during a visit to a 3,000 acre Quarter Horse Ranch in Junction City , KS . We agreed that “Wizzard” should spend the majority of his youth “being a horse” and running with his buddy across the plains of his 100+ acre pasture. At 2 years old, Wizzard went off to the trainer for 2 months. Three more months of Natural Horsemanship training and our boy was ready to make the 1121 mile journey to Virginia . Having never hired a transport company before, the task of choosing a transporter was overwhelming, scarey and completely out of my comfort zone. Obtaining Coggins, Insurance, Health Certificates, etc….no problem…thinking of choosing a transporter and my stress level shot thru the roof.

Two months before needing actual transport, I went online and sent out a request for estimates. Each response/company boasted their history, vehicles, liability, drivers, etc. The range of prices went from $600 to $1500. Box stall, gooseneck, slant load, overnight stop, I was no closer to making a decision and seemed even more confused than when I started. Then as the date of transport approached, the phone rang. It was Pure Pleasure Horse Transport calling to determine if I had chosen a transporter. WOW…this was the ONLY transport company that actually followed-up. I was immediately impressed that in the current world of companies not providing customer service to the consumer, your company did. After many questions and many phone calls with you, I confidently signed the contract.

On 9/9/06, the driver arrived at the ranch “on time” as agreed. The folks at the ranch were immediately impressed with Wizzard’s box stall, flooring of the trailer, multiple water buckets and hay bags hanging. The driver called me to inform the moment he was on the road, that he would make regular contact and that I could call anytime to find out their location and status. As promised, the driver kept regular contact. With each call, I was professionally informed of location, wellbeing of Wizzard and whether he was eating/drinking properly. With each call, I found the driver to be a calming presence. His demeanor gave me much comfort and I knew that Wizzard was in very capable hands.

Wizzard arrived home on 9/11/06. As he walked off the trailer, what struck me immediately was how relaxed and calm he was. He looked around and then dropped his head to nibble on some grass. Most notable was that 2 days later when we had to load him for a quick trip down the road, he immediately loaded. This spoke volumes for me in that his experience with the driver had been positive and one that had not caused fear or anxiety on any level.

My deepest thanks to the driver and to you Marshall. You delivered my dream horse safe and sound. I would highly recommend your organization to anyone and everyone who is considering transporting one or multiple horses. Please feel free to include me on your list of References as I will sing your praises to anyone who wishes to call for a reference.

This was a fun trip for all.  Getting in the trailer with them to feed was a real treat.  They were all very well behaved.  These pictures were taken on delivery.

This is "Tayo" on delivery.  He had been in the middle stall and had to check out what had been going on in the back for the past two days.   He was absolutely Snow White and had two perfect blue eyes.

This is " ROO " the mini stallion .. He had the single suite in the front for this trip.  He was a very good traveler, but we ready to see his new home.

This is rather late in being sent, but I wanted to thank you ( and one of your drivers who's name I can no longer recall) for your excellent customer service and care of my 2 paint mares you shipped for me last year. The first horse "Red Cloud" from Tennessee (traveled with the "birthday" horse who is also in your feedback) you brought to me yourself and your communication and on-time arrival was wonderful. The mares breeder whom you picked her up from also sang your praises to me when I called to let her know she had arrived. The second passenger was my (then) weanling filly "Dream" who traveled down to me in MO from Wisconsin. To my knowledge she had never been in a trailer and your driver was very patient with her and had little trouble getting her to hop right in! Her breeder also had good things to say from her end as well. I recommend you to everyone that I hear needs a horse shipped! When I need shipping again yours will be the only number I call! I have hauled a lot in the past and I was as worry free as I would have been if I had driven them here myself!

Just a quick E-mail to let you know the absolutely outstanding job the driver did while he transported my Show Paint Gelding from Arizona to Connecticut – 2600+ plus miles. My horse arrived in perfect condition, with-out one strand of hair out of place. The driver's commitment and care to the horses that he is transporting is extremely rare in your industry. Please let everyone know who calls to book a transport, that Jeff is the “best”. I will certainly use your transport services in the future.

My horse was so well taken care of, after the long journey, I was able to saddle him up within a few hours of receiving him, and enjoyed a wonderful scenic trail ride.

Dear Marshall,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you. When my colt arrived in Maine from Missouri on 9/9/06 he looked really great. Jeff took good care of him and did a great job. I had been really stressed out about someone I didn’t know hauling my colt, but the was very considerate of my feelings and worries during the long trip. He assured me that everything was going good and called me everyday to fill me in on my baby. I also called him a few times. When they arrived my colt didn’t want to get off the trailer. But with the driver’s help and patience all ended well. If and when I ever have to have another baby or horse transported I will be calling Pure Pleasure. I have already told a lot of my friends. Please send a huge note of thanks to the driver for taking such wonderful care of my mare and foal during their long journey home. He kept wonderful communication with me throughout their trip and was extremely knowledgeable about the status of their well being throughout the entire time and relayed that information to me regularly via telephone updates. He definitely took great care of them over the course of those two days as they got off the trailer looking like they had only been around the block!

I just wanted to send a note of thanks to all of you who helped in the moving of our beloved horse. Your assistance and patience in preparing the paper work was greatly appreciated. Everything went very, very well. The horse arrived calm and relaxed, well fed and well hydrated. The driver did a great job. He seemed to really take a liking to the horse he brought for me. It was gratifying to know that he appreciated the animal and took such care with him. I told him that on the day the horse arrived I finally heard back from one of the other haulers that I had contacted. I told them they were several days late and wanted nearly twice the price.

I have to tell you that the driver is the greatest hauler in the entire universe! He called me sometimes twice a day. He went the extra mile, providing Duke with a stall for a night in Watsonville that occurred unexpectedly.

The driver delivered the filly this morning around 9am. She arrived looking great. The driver was wonderful with her, very patient (considering she's never trailered before). He took the time to look her over once she was out of the trailer to make sure she hadn't hurt herself getting out. Said she was eating and drinking just fine the whole trip. No problems at all.

I really appreciate you (and the driver) transporting my filly, especially on short notice. You guys are really great, and thanks a lot!

Our new horse, "Cody" arrived here this evening. I have never used a horse transport company before. So, I was a bit nervous about how to select somebody to haul a young horse 1,000 miles, from Vermont to Illinois. I didn't want this youngster to be on a trailer for an extended period of time. And like most people, I was on a budget. Pure Pleasure Horse Transport was definitely the answer. We lucked out with a direct drive from VT to IL and your price was competitive. Best of all the driver is absolutely wonderful. Both the seller in VT and I could tell that the driver cares about the horses. "Cody" arrived this evening and at 17 months of age, came off of the trailer as if he simply had been on a trip around the block. He showed no signs of stress, whatsoever.
I will definitely use your company again in the future and I will recommend your company to anybody who needs a horse shipped.

Not that we care any less when our horses are shipped out, but understandably, it seems more critical when on the receiving end. The driver kept in constant touch calling at least once sometimes twice a day. With a 2000+ mile trip and 90+ temperatures, we had a lot to be concerned about. It seems that the driver treated Glory with great care and we truly respect and appreciate that. Hell ! Even the seller complimented to us, what a fine shipper we picked. You've seemed to have taken care in picking your drivers and it is going to pay high dividends.

We received our mare in fine shape. We will certainly use you again and would be glad to refer Pure Pleasure Horse Transport to all of our clients and friends.

Sorry it took me this long to write. My girls got home in perfect shape, I can't thank you and The driver enough for the great care they got.  My two very in foal shire mares had a true stress free ride, all 1000 miles seemed like nothing with a whole trailer for them, perfect beds and constant care. It was a huge adventure for them since they were going from Nebraska to Mexico City, and you certainly made the difference for them!

The driver put up with all my calls and was nothing but kind and understanding. I will certainly contact you guys again!

He arrived to me in excellent physical and mental shape and i am so happy with him. I just wanted to thank you for having The driver bring my beautiful new mare from VA to SD in wonderful condition ! She wasn't remotely stressed from the long trip and I am certain it is because of The driver's TLC.  I really enjoyed working with him and your very professional operation. I got exactly what I was paying for - a transporter that was not as focused on getting my horse there "fast or cheap" but instead focused on her comfort, her legs and her general health. After paying for a good horse I don't know why anyone would risk not paying for a transporter that is concerned about taking care of the horse's health above all else. These people know horses and they know how to get them where they are going in good condition. I would recommend them to anyone and when I need to do this again I won't look anywhere else.
