Our 2006 Alaska Trip
This is one of the places we stopped along the way to rest.
Homestead Morgans in British Columbia

This is Jeneanne's house overlooking the peace river.
Wouldn't you like a view like that?!

Homestead Morgans cremello stallion - GORGEOUS!!!

A couple of views of her horses in the pasture.
Along with the spectacular views there are also the occasional
roadside visitor -

A Very Large Timber WOLF in British Columbia at 10:30 pm ...Two
crossed the road in front of us and this one stopped... I think he
had thoughts of HORSE LUNCH...!!

This is BIG JOHN. Our Anchorage bound extra large quarter
horse gelding that traveled to the Air Force base in Anchorage to be
with his owner, Kendra, who is based there. John came to our
farm in Missouri from Phoenix AZ and stayed with us for two weeks
prior to departure. He was a very good passenger. This
picture is on delivery day at the stables on base in Anchorage.

Tanner (buckskin gelding ) and Jewels ( grey mare ) traveled with
us from Missouri to Soldotna AK. Since they were almost our
neighbors, we boarded them for 6 weeks prior to departure as their
owner had moved to AK ahead of time. They were both very well
behaved. I got very attached to them both. Karen was very
happy to have them at her new home. These pictures were taken
on the day of delivery in Soldotna AK.

Meet Junior ( paint ) and Little Buddy ( bay ). They
traveled with us from Palmer AK to North Carolina on our return from
Alaska 2006 trip. Over 5000 miles and about 8 days. Their
owners, Tim and Kelly, had transferred from the Air Force base
in Anchorage to North Carolina. These photos were taken on the
day of delivery to their new home.

Unloading Buddy... He was a bit unsure, as there was NO SNOW !

This is " BATMAN " ... One of our other guests during our return
trip from Alaska 2006 ... Batman traveled with us from Arkansas to
North Carolina.

This is Jake, a 4 year old Appaloosa gelding that traveled with
us from Anchorage AK to Nebraska. His owner, Christine, had
transferred from the Air Force base in Anchorage to Nebraska also
and was very happy to see him. Jake was glad to be there too
after a 6 day trip. This picture was taken at the bases
stables in Nebraska just outside of Omaha.
