Our 2008 Alaska Trip

Our two passengers from Ohio to Fairbanks are two very well behaved
Arabian mares. They stayed with us at our farm for about 4
days before our Alaska departure.

These two Icelandic Geldings came from Vernon BC, and traveled with
us to Fairbanks also. They were well behaved and professional
loaders by the time we got to Alaska.

This has to be the best behaved stallion I have ever seen .. He
stayed with us a few days before departing for Alaska and we
delivered him in Butte Montana, where his new owners came from
Canada to meet us .. He traveled with both mares in the trailer and
never once got excited about anything .. GOOD BOY !!

Some scenery in western Montana heading to Washington on I-90.

This is Muncho Lake in British Columbia. Absolutely awesome.

This HUGE Buffalo was just waking up as we were driving at sunrise
around Muncho Lake in BC.
He didn't care about us, just wanted some
breakfast.

This is a display of some of the
wildlife in Haines Junction Yukon Territory Canada. Pretty
Cool !

It may be a LONG trip but there is always something gorgeous to look
at around the next bend or at the top of a hill.

An great story about a Grizzly bear. Click on the link above to get

Bears. This one was very close to us and decided he better get back in
the woods

ALL SET and getting ready to load Sammy and Charlie in Homer AK, for
their trip back to Missouri. We brought them back to our farm to
board them while their owners Dave and Melissa got their new farm
ready.

Loading Charlie for his ride back from
Homer AK to our farm in Missouri - no problems - stepped right in
the first time.

Loading Sammy for her trip with Charlie from Homer AK back to our
farm in Missouri. Sammy is a cross Belgian/ Quarter mare.

We made it back to our farm safe and sound on May 30th. After a
couple days of settling in to their new surroundings, it was time to
meet everyone and do some exploring in the pasture.
